She's got a hint of Karen Carpenter in her voice. For some reason, I connect this song with a male singer, would even prefer it I think.

I think mostly guys have sung it in the past. Mel Torme wrote it with some other guy. My favorite version is Nat King Cole. Great arrangement. And I finally found it and posted it.

Yup and between Nat King Cole and Mel Torme, I give the edge to Mel.
